Feels Like Home Podcast

Awhile back over a hot pastrami sandwich and long walk through town, Eva asked if I would consider starting a podcast with her. I have to admit, I instantly said yes, but then realized I knew very little about podcasts.

Since that day, we have been sharing stories and hosting a variety of guest over a candlelit table and a hot cup of tea (remind me to tell you all about why we have to record with the lights off… ). Never in my mind did I think I would get so much joy over getting to know not only Eva, but the people who have said ‘yes’ to sitting at the table with us. After a long couple of years of relationships taking the backseat due to COVID restrictions, it feels so nice to invest in people. It’s always people.

As many of you know, Eva is a brilliant business woman and VERY talented creative. Her talent and drive are equally matched by her quick wit, dedication for justice, and a house full of the same level of natural science creepy that we have at my own house. To say we were a match made in heaven is an understatement.

In all the ways it feels like I would be the unlikeliest of candidates to sit with her. She is far more established that I am and had a laundry list of people that she could have asked to join in the fun. I may never know why she asked me but aside from the friendship gained and the memories made, it has been such a source of inspiration and hope for me.

I invite you to the table to sit with us. Sometimes we chat about interiors. Other times we talk about landscaping. In every episode we talk about life, business, home, kids, and everything in between. I’d be so honored for you to listen in. Who knows? Maybe you will learn something. And maybe you have something you’d like to ask or share. In any case, we hope it Feels Like Home, and that you get to know us more.

Disclaimer, the first couple episodes were hard for me to to get used to. It feels a little stiff and I was trying to get my bearings on how recording went. As we keep going, I feel us settling in. I love that part. It just keeps getting better and better.
